The PedMAb project (RIA2019PD-2887) led by the Coordinating Investigators, Dr Gabriella Scarlatti from the coordinating institution Ospedale San Raffaele srl (OSR), Italy and Dr Ameena Goga from the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC), South Africa organised 11-15 March a 1-week course in Durban, South Africa for project members and staff members from South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC). The course was an Introduction to Clinical Trials and Biostatistics. The course was led by Prof Thorkild Tylleskär from the partner University of Bergen, Norway and Dr Tarylee Reddy (statistician) from SAMRC.
Around 30 participants enjoyed the course that was composed of aspects of running and analysing clinical trials alternating with Stata exercises. The course was highly appreciated.
